A post before the month runs out

The crazy month of March. It came in like a lion and seems to be going out the same way. Who came up with those crazy sayings anyway?

My boss has accepted a job elsewhere. That means the North Platte station manager job will be open once again. I have been approached by many people about the job and have a much better chance of getting the job at this point if I wanted it. Do I want it? Yes and no. It would be a great resume line. It would be a slight (very slight) pay increase. It would give me the opportunity to make some much needed changes.

But here's why I have decided not to apply. My life away from work means too much to me. If I took the manager job, I'd be giving a lot of it up. Teaching music, play at church, in the symphony, and my other bands is too important to me right now.
