Passed

According to the National Registry website, I have successfully passed the written portion of the Paramedic test that I took earlier in the month. This means that when I go to Denver next week, I will only be required to take the skills portion of the test.
The Skills portion includes the following stations...

Trauma Assessment
Ventilatory Management-includes endotracheal tube placement
Dual Lumen Airway Device
Dynamic Cardiology
Static Cardiology
Intravenous Therapy-Starting and IV and administ
Pediatric Ventilatory Management
Pediatric Intraosseous Infusion
Seated Spinal Immobilization
Supine Spinal Immobilization
Bleeding Control/ Shock Management
... and a huge Oral Station

Each station must be passed in order to receive certification.

This test is Wednesday afternoon in Englewood, CO. (southern Denver) If you are the praying type, please pray for good recall of information and the ability to work well under the stress and pressure of a big test.

On another note (pun intended) "The Hatchbacks" had a great gig last night in Alliance. The drive there was beautiful, but the drive back was a 'white-knuckler' as we drove the entire way back in thunderstorms and rain. The playing went well, though. The more we play together, the better we sound. Hopefully, we'll be able to record a CD with a few tunes on it to give people.

Our next gig for Viaero Wireless will be in Sidney, Nebraska in a couple weeks. They love us. Their Director of Marketting has been at all of the openings so far and has promised to get us a little bit of free advertising in their advertisements and direct mailings.

I hope things go well with your test Rob. Sounds pretty hard to me. My subject would probably die painfully and quickly. That why we have guys like you!
