The trip to New Hampshire

I returned home a week ago from my trip to New Hampshire and I am just now updating my blog about it. Many of you are probably wondering how my test went. The unofficial results said that I missed one of the practical stations that I needed to pass. That is a bummer for sure, however, I plan to take the Paramedic level test as soon as I can (June or July most likely).

I had a great visit with my sister, although I have sneaking suspicions that she was trying to kill me by having me try her vegetarian cuisine. Give me meat any day. I got nothing against plants, why would I want to kill and eat them? Barbaric, thats what I call it.

Some people think the reason I went was to take a test. Others think I went to see my sister. The real reason was the lighthouses. For years, I have been enamoured with them. Finally I got to see some up close.

We took one day out of my visit to go down to the coast and visit light houses. From Portsmouth, NH to South Portland, ME we drove and looked for lighthouses. These are pictures of lighthouses near Rye, NH, Cape Elizabeth, ME and South Portland, ME.

I'd love to go back to NH again. I might go out there for the Paramedic test. I haven't decided what I'll do yet. If I go again, I be sure to get more pictures. I'd love to go exploring on my own. If I go during the summer, I can get tours of the working lighthouses. Many of them will be open to the public then. During this trip, I wasn't able to climb any of the lighthouses or get up inside them. It was great to see them anyways.
