Cello Teachin' Maniac

Over the past year I have been teaching cello lessons to a high school student. She is a really great player, although she had never taken lessons before. We have worked on a lot of music together. She played a big cello concerto with her high school orchestra. This past weekend was District Music competitions. She played a song called "Allegro Appassionato" by Saen Sans (sp?). We had spent a lot of time ( we could have spent a lot more) working through parts of it. She had it down pretty well. At competition, she scored a 1+ which was the highest score possible. I am quite proud of her.

I found a door for my car. It is still in Lincoln, though.
