So, how's your love life?

Above is one of my least favorite question. How do I respond? Usually I say something like "Yeah right, I wich I had one." or "If I had one, I'd tell ya." or "Yeah, yeah, keep rubbing it in." I have well-meaning friends who are concerned that I am not married yet and that I don't have a girlfriend. Sometimes they even try to set me up with one.

Truth is, there aren't many girls in my life right now that I'd consider dating. I am always up for meeting new people, though. Anyways, sometime within the next week or so I'll be meeting someone new by way of some friends of mine. I am a excited about it. I might just fall in love.

Someone told me I've probably got a string of broken hearts in my past, girls who liked me who I never paid attention to. Its probably I'd be lying if I said that that wasn't true. I knew several girls in college who liked me. I was too busy being a student and being involved in other things to really pay attention to them, though. I guess we both lost out.

Cold and Snow

Autumn is hitting us in Nebraska, too.
I finally relit the pilot light in my furnace.
I've been thinking recently that I should get a passport so I can go visit Canada sometime.

All five performance of "Little Shop of Horrors" went very well. I had a blast playing for it. Lots of Rock-Motown based music. Fun stuff to play for sure. The only time I got to see the play was on a video of one of the dress rehearsals. My place in the pit was actually under the stage and so I didn't get to see a single thing happening above us.

What is new in my life?
Not much. Still trying to decide what I should be doing about my car situation. Loving work.
